List of All U.S. Dental Schools
The complete directory of accredited U.S. dental (DDS/DMD) schools, by school and by state. Each listing shows the location, whether the school is public or private, and the predoctoral degree it awards. Neutral and informational only — we do not rank schools.
DDS vs. DMD. U.S. dental schools award one of two predoctoral degrees: the Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or the Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). The two degrees are equivalent — they have the same curriculum requirements and accreditation, and graduates of both take the same licensing exams. Which one a school awards is simply a naming choice.
